The De Brays

Master Painters of 17th Centry Holland
Ian DeJardin sheds light on four exceptionally talented painters issuing from a single family: Salomon de Bray and his sons Jan, Joseph and Dick.

Dulwich Picture Gallery houses one of the world's most important collections of European old master paintings of the 1600s and 1700s. The collection is also one of the oldest in Great Britain. The Age of Enchantment
Beardsley, Dulac and their Contemporaries 1890 - 1930

Borrowing from the past, illustrators such as Aubrey Beardsley, Edmund Dulac and Kay Nielson had lavish colour plates published in children's books such as The Arabian Nights, which became the coffee table books for a new age.
